With the co-working industry flourishing at a burgeoning rate, Amit Ramani of Awfis shares how this co-working firm has managed to soar new heights of success amidst tough competition

Awfis that is India’s largest co-working space provider has a nation-wide network of 55 centres with a presence across 8 Indian cities. Awfis is the brainchild of Amit Ramani who launched this co-working space in April 2015. Much more than co-working and the first to introduce the concept of Pro-working, Awfis has been providing inspirational workspace solutions to Small, Medium, Individual and Local Entrepreneurs.

With a keen focus on improving the productivity of employees with smart utilisation of spaces and integration of novel ideas, fostering an environment of knowledge sharing and cross-pollination of ideas remains as the core aim of Awfis.

RealtyNXT under its series, Proptech Stories, had an exclusive interview with Ramani who is the Founder of Awfis. The co-working space recently launched its largest centre in Bengaluru. Ramani spoke on how this centre is different from its other centres spread across Bengaluru.

Awfis also witnessed a three-fold jump in revenue from Rs 56 crore to Rs 158 crore in 2018-19.  Ramani shared valuable insights on how they manage to maintain constant success in spite of new players entering the market with new offerings. The founder also shared some interesting bits of information on what makes them stand apart from their competitors.

Ramani gave insights into the wide range of clients that Awfis caters to and explained how technology plays a vital role in today’s world. Awfis has collaborated with What3Words to extend the numerous benefits of technology to clients, thus proving how technology is an inseparable part of this co-working firm.

Awfis also has come up with AES (Awfis Enterprise Solutions) to target mid and large sized corporates. He explained the intent behind the launch of AES and how it will prove beneficial to its clients.
