Colliers International bought a majority stake in Bengaluru project Synergy Property Development Services

About 1,000 Synergy employees will join Colliers to create a workforce of 1,400 across 16 offices, providing services across investment, sales, lease brokerage, valuations, workplace consultancy, design, and property and project management.

Commercial real estate services provider Colliers International has bought a majority stake in Bengaluru-based project management firm Synergy Property Development Services. The deal amount was not disclosed.

About 1,000 Synergy employees will join Colliers to create a workforce of 1,400 across 16 offices, providing services across investment, sales, lease brokerage, valuations, workplace consultancy, design, and property and project management.

Set up in 2003, Synergy has delivered over 120 million sqft of projects for investors, developers and occupiers of real estate. “Colliers is the next evolution of our business given our shared culture and commitment to driving exceptional results for clients,” said founder and chairman, Sankey Prasad. Prasad will become the CMD of Colliers in India.

“Having enjoyed tremendous growth in our Asia business over the last five years, combining with India’s leading project management business puts Colliers in an enviable position,” David Hand, CEO of Colliers Asia Pacific, said.
