Mary Wells Lawrence, a retired advertising executive who was responsible for many popular campaigns, including “I Love New York,” has listed her Manhattan duplex residence for $27.95 million on Friday.

Kitchen

Located on the 38th and 39th floors of a Park Avenue building in Lenox Hill, the duplex has 4,916 square feet of living space, including four bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms, according to the listing with Steven Cohen of Douglas Elliman.

Master Bedroom

“The duplex features 11-foot ceilings and a floating metal, wood and glass staircase in the center,” Mr. Cohen said. “It’s very dramatic.”

The rooms are grand in size and are positioned in a way that “every room is a corner and gets amazing light and views,” he said.

Ms. Lawrence, 92, who created the “Plop plop, fizz fizz” slogan for Alka-Seltzer and “At Ford, Quality is Job 1” for the Ford Motor Company, and who was awarded the Loin of St. Marks for her lifetime achievements at the 2020 Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity, has moved to London, according to Mr. Cohen.

“Mary likes adventures. This is the next phase of her life,” Mr. Cohen said. “But she told me she’s not done with New York.”

Guest Room

Ms. Lawrence bought the duplex and two adjacent units on the third floor of the building—a one-bedroom and a studio to accommodate guests or staff—in 2005 for $18.75 million, property records show.

The sale price includes these two units, and a storage space, Mr. Cohen said.

Located on Park Avenue between 59th and 60th streets, the 43-story limestone condominium offers residents storage rooms, climate-controlled wine cellars, a gym with state-of-the-art equipment, and a full-time doorman and concierge.
