Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood is ready to part with his colorful London townhouse in the upscale Notting Hill neighborhood, listing it earlier in October for £3.85 million (US$4.98 million).

Mr. Wood, who’s been with the Rolling Stones since 1976, and his actress wife Sally Humphreys, paid £2.35 million for the five-story spread in 2011, listing records show.

It was their home up until 2017, when they moved to nearby Little Venice, and now the property serves as Mr. Wood’s art studio, according to a news release from listing agency Milton Stone.

Loaded with eclectic art, the five-bedroom home spans 4,100 square feet and could be expanded to seven bedrooms if the sizable art studio was converted, the listing said.

Milton Stone“Ronnie furnished and decorated the house to make it the vibrant and eclectic home it now is and created a large but cozy, characterful setting for his family,” Ms. Harrison said.

“Together with the sizable mature garden to the rear, the property has airy, spacious rooms, many of which have the original fireplaces, pitch-pine floors and floor-to-ceiling windows,” she said.

A representative for Mr. Wood, 73, did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
